Philanthropic activities are at the core of Alpha Kappa Psi's mission to create well-rounded business professionals in college life, but more importantly, in the working world. AKPsi members also participate in volunteer services like Adopt-a-Family, Feed My Starving Children, and an in-house non-profit consulting firm. ![]() PRINCIPLED BUSINESS LEADERS-Alpha Kappa Psi members tour the city of Chicago during the 2008 Regional Success Institute, held annually in major cities across the nation. As part of a national strategy to instill higher ideals in brothers planning to enter the world of business, Alpha Kappa Psi national leaders spend countless resources creating opportunities for constant growth in all areas of the fraternity. The trek to Chicago is an annual tradition for U of M members and a chance to bond while learning the latest techniques for leaving a bigger footprint on campus. ![]() GOPHER COUNTRY-Every pledge class shares a special bond that is only created in an atmosphere like that of Alpha Kappa Psi. From sporting events like Gopher Football, Hockey, and Basketball to Homecoming and Spring Jam, the University of Minnesota is at the heart of our organization. Since its founding in the early 20th century at New York University, the fraternity has commanded respect and honor for the institution of higher learning. ![]() FORMAL 2008-A chance to get away from school and dress your best is part of any brotherhood, Alpha Kappa Psi's Yellow Rose Formal is an annual spring celebration of accomplishments and unity. Formal is part of a variety of social events like holiday dinners and parties that also involve alumni with membership. The extensive networking options available between active members and alumni at many of the Midwest's most successful companies is one of Alpha Kappa Psi's greatest assets. |
